Positive experience: The call center has had its message box full for 6 months now, so there's no way to make an appointment for this center However! I went in anyways and there was a lovely employee who helped me anyways and was very quick! I don't remember their name but the receipt says Employee #5L

Fantastic experience: I got there 11 minutes before closing and they hooked me up!

Negative experience: AAA is a horrible service. I feel defrauded by AAA. So after decades of being a Premier RV member entitling me to a 100 mile tow I requested a 19 mile tow for an emergency condition. I called AAA and they referred me to a tow service that wished to bill me for service. Finally after 1 hour of hold time with AAA AND A THIRD supervisor they corrected the issue. Poor, poor, horrible service.

Negative experience: They don't call when you make a complaint to fix something on your car as they promise in less than 24 hours. You have to keep calling and insisting. They collect the premium quickly.

Fantastic experience: I did a walk-in for an international drivers permit. The check in line wasn’t too long in the afternoon on a Monday. It took about 5-7mins. I was told the wait time for my name being called will be 45 mins but I was called in 20 mins or lesser and the process was smooth and easy. Good customer service. You need 2 passport size pictures for the permit or you can get it clicked there. And your DL. Fee was 20$.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. They were friendly and attentive. Even went around and passed water out to customers on this hot Monday. I can tell the employees here care and are doing their absolute best they can do. Will continue to come here.

Positive experience: Wait was relatively short and got everything done that I needed to.

Negative experience: Super slow service. Feels like I walked into a senior living center. 2 people working and zero sense of urgency. Simple title transfer taking over 30 minutes of wait time with just 3 people ahead of me.

Negative experience: This office sucks its ran down. The clerks here love to talk to people making wait time really long was told 20 mins that turned into a hour. Looks to be they take there sweet time. Go somewhere else if you vaule your time.

Negative experience: The Claremont Dr office is just not as efficiently ran as the rancho San Diego office so I was real disappointing took me 2 hours to do something would have taken me 5 minutes in rancho San Diego, God bless you all and have a great day

Negative experience: Terrible service ever !!!! Went to this office today for the first time and never again !!!! The line was long, once you get to the front desk the young lady decides if your issue could be dealt with her quickly or not. In every other AAA office the person in the front desk only channels people to insurance or DMV !!!! But in this office is not like that SHE HAS TO DEAL W EVERYONE’S NEEDS so I could not get help w a DMV issue because she decided I had to wait 30 Days for my car registration copy that I needed w out even asking me for my name or checking in The computer. Lazy and NO problem solving skills LACK OF SERVICE !!!!!!!!!!! Waist of time

Negative experience: Very rude dmv teller!!! Was waiting in line a person walked in and skipped in front 3 people..including myself!!! Very unprofessional!!!!

Negative experience: My insurance renewal came up and my rate is 40% higher than last year, I called to inquire and was told nothing has changed on my driving record but the reason for the rate increase is that "the cost to repair cars and the cost of medical bills has increased". I could understand a slight increase with that as the excuse but 40% is just plain greed.

Fantastic experience: Much easier going to AAA instead of the DMV for auto registrations and Title changes, etc.

Negative experience: AAA auto Insurance company is very bad, the custimer service people on the phone are rude, the auto Insurance prices are very hight and they increasse the price every time. They say simething about the clame and they report a different thing without letting the person know. Very bad Insurance.

Fantastic experience: Maggie was super helpful!! Helped with my registration, change of address, title transfer, and the AAA trade in program! So much quicker and easier than a trip to the DMV.

Fantastic experience: Your driver Ira helped me this evening when I got a screw stuck in my tire. I could tell that he’s passionate about his job and helping people in any way he can. There’s people that do this just for a paycheck and then there’s Ira. He really went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and could safely get home.

Fantastic experience: I don’t often write reviews but I was amazed by how genuinely friendly and helpful the employees of this location were to us. If you have an automotive need that AAA can help with, i cannot recommend going here enough. You will save yourself from potential chaos of the DMV and not feel agony when filling out paperwork!

Negative experience: I stepped in to the office at 4.45pm and checked in. The lady who assisted me let me know that they close at 5pm and she could not promise that they would be able help me with dmw services before 5pm. To be frank i was told there were 4 people waiting ahead of me but i was not told that first people on that line have been waiting for 82 minutes. Even dmw Does not let people wait that long. LOL There was no one waiting outside and lets be honest no one waits 82 minutes for a basic service. And if you keep your customers waiting that long, you are not on the right path.. I was going on a 3 weeks vacation the next day and i asked them if they could help me with the paperwork. The answer was no. I understand that but at least don’t send people messages with 20 mins wait time and then keep them waiting 2 hours… Just tell everyone 3 hours wait so people don’t wait for you under the sun 20 minutes like me.. As a 6+ year aaa member, i would love to get some help. I pay almost $200 for your premium services a year. And the service that i got from your Clairemont office staff was not even close to premium. They should at least hear me out and try to help me. They were super ready to close exactly at 5.00pm. And I felt unappreciated. Thank you staff hope you will enjoy your friday evening..

Positive experience: Im ALL about AAA and their services they offer that allow me to skip a DMV visit. This office is the only one I've ever visited seeing as how it's in my neighborhood. Sometimes I have to wait a little longer than I would like but seeing as how my alternative is the DMV, I'll gladly wait here. Service has always been acceptable

Negative experience: This review is for roadside service, not the office. Called in for help with dead battery. Rcvd text confirmation that truck was dispatched. Never showed. Rcvd no communication. Paying for a premium membership too. UPDATE: Truck finally showed at 3am (initial call was placed at 10pm ). So added one star for that, but still surprised I did not receive any communication from AAA indicating this was going to be an all night thing.

Fantastic experience: This was the best visit yet. I got checked in quickly. The wait for the person needed was shorter than expected. And Maggie was a gem. She explained things to me thoroughly, and with a smile. Maggie answered all my questions. I left feeling happy, and confident that I got the best help ever.

Negative experience: Very poor customer service especially from the DMV "auditor " who is extremely problematic and rude. Also, other issues I've had here are duplicate charges, mishandling of DMV related paperwork, and misinformation. I went to the Mission Valley Hotel circle and within 5 minutes they solved all my problems. Clairemont is just not a good location & unfortunately mainly because of the people who work there.

Iam not exaggerating the wait, took my whole lunch hour. Why pay for fast service when you can go to the dmv wait the same amount of time for free.

They told me to wait in the car, while I was waiting in the car I saw everyone going in and I never got informed to go in. 20 min later I got up and went to the door and just went in, I waited in line again and was helper after everyone. Then when I set down with the lady to talk about my insurance she was I. No mood to answer my questions about the benefits of having AAA. She gave me a flyer and said here you can find your benefits. (Horrible service) I regret having AAA I am actually now thinking about switching.
