Negative experience: I went into this location, ended up. Wind the wrong location, the girl at the reception desk was so rude, no help As to where the place I was supposed to go to. Just plain rude. Based on that I would never go to that office again. Need training for customer service at that location!

Negative experience: They have terrible front desk service. I needed an international drivers license and they stopped that service at 5:00 pm even though they close at 5:30pm. I walked in at 5:02 and they can’t help me because their policy is more important than customer service;and I’m a aaa member. Guess which membership I will not be renewing.

Fantastic experience: Front door was logically placed but not according to a shopping mall. They are on the outside corner, outlot. People were all friendly. Surprised not at all crowded. I went for passport photos but this place is full service. Recommend.

Negative experience: Absolute nightmare AAA office reps, especially B.R. My proof of home insurance was not submitted digitally to my home mortgage. Ended up with two home insurances payments! Honestly wish people would take responsibility and realize that most companies require everything digitally not mailed. I am livid and called AAA corporate to try to figure this all out when my individual agent could not assist.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with this AAA insurance agent called abul azad. After I was in an accident, I tried calling him over 100 times, but he never answered. I even contacted the office, and they kept making excuses, saying he was “too busy” to take my call. I was left to handle everything on my own, which was incredibly stressful and mentally exhausting. Then, after I finally dealt with the situation myself and decided to cancel my policy, he suddenly called me acting completely clueless and asked if I wanted to renew my policy. When I refused, he kept playing dumb and asking why, as if he had no idea what had happened. This agent is completely unprofessional, unresponsive, and clearly doesn’t care about his customers. If you ever need actual help, don’t expect him to be there for you. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

Negative experience: Very unfriendly tall man working in the front. I came in there to ask questions about transportation abroad and I was going to ask about activities and other trips but I didn't get the chance due to his condenseding attitude. He told me it would be a waste of the travel agents time to talk to me and I would not give them enough commission because I already booked the hotel online. I even offered to pay for any fees or for any services and it still was not enough to get some simple questions answered. He said that I'm on my own because I didn't come in to book every aspect of my trip through them at first. You know, if this was a pleasant interaction I may have booked future trips with this agency but I will not do that in the future. This could have been opportunity to build a clientele. This is how you lose future customer with bad service from the get go and a bad attitude. The man in the front is not equipped to work in customer service.

Negative experience: As soon as I walked in I felt unwelcomed by the gentleman at the desk. He was not friendly as I had asked him about some maps. I knew what maps I had in the past and hope to get some replacements for a road trip. He was short and seemed bother by my requests. I still need another map I discovered after I left, but I won't be going back to this AAA office. I've been here in the past and other family members have mentioned they also have had a negative experience in this office with other employees in other departments. If you are going to hire someone to greet members as they walk in, you should highly consider who is representing not only AAA but this location. As a manager of Retail Operations, this guy would not be at the front. As members we pay a fee to be a part of this association. so please hire people who value us as we pay for you to work there.

Negative experience: Ignored my appointments and emergency service requests for days. Booked me appointments and rescheduled them HOURS earlier and later without any notice. Completely unreliable and totally undermines the AAA promise. Disappointing.

Negative experience: I am currently writing this as I wait for my buddy to come bring me a breaker bar. The breaker bar for civics are TINY therefore I cannot break the lugs to put on a spare.I called AAA with my membership info and what not I called at 5:57 and they estimated 7:25 however it is now 9:12 I haven’t canceled the call yet and still as I write nothing from AAA- I’d recommend AAA if you feel like waiting ATLEAST 2x the time they estimate for something simple.

Negative experience: Membership fees are non-refundable, even if you cancel your membership. And once your affairs are settled with them, you will get true up bills for “policy changes during your coverage” even if it’s months after you have a zero balance. SCAM company

Negative experience: I have no problem with this branch. But please avoid agent Lisa Brady, she uses every little opportunity to increase your premium so that she can earn more, she is personally blocking me to opt-out Michigan PIP coverage after the reform. I then decided to email her to cancel the Auto policy, the worst thing is, she told me twice it was cancelled when I followed up with her. But I noticed that AAA still charges me money for my Auto Policy. I found out by calling AAA corporate that Lisa Brady never cancelled my Auto Policy! What a dishonest person she is! All in all, please avoid Lisa Brady, she is dishonest and greedy, which should not represent AAA image. I hope AAA corporate can see this and do something about it.

Fantastic experience: They were all very polite and professional. I explained what I wanted, and when I said I was concerned about construction and road closures, the lady immediately suggested the trip ticket, which would give me the info I needed. There was also no waiting, even though this office is in a busy part if Troy.

Fantastic experience: So efficient! I needed a handful of maps to take us from Detroit to Virginia and was able to walk in and within five minutes have everything I need. AAA continues to be the trip support that you need. We have GPS and we have Google but it's always nice to have that map in your hand.

Negative experience: Giving one star or doesnt even deserve a star for the way we were treated. We were shock to find out that our insurance were terminated with out ANY notice.. we were driving with out insurance for two weeks bc our sales agent BRIAN RICE failed to inform us that if you do not renew your triple A membership.. your auto insurance will not auto renew itself! Apparently thats a perks of being a triple A member??(Which btw is complete BS) This was not mention when we sign up for this insurance!!!.He claims that even if he didnt mention during sign up...they sent out notification letter but i swear to God i did not see one in the mail, or there is no follow up at all. Luckily my husband called to find out why auto deduct didnt get deducted from our account. Otherwise we would have been driving with out insurnce with baby on board. We had no choice but sign up again and pay upfront cost. We ask Brian if he can reinstate our insurance but nothing was done. Once our 6 months is up.. we will definitely shop around for different home and auto insurance. Just a typical sales agent nothing matters but $$$

Fantastic experience: I went into the Troy office to get a little information on Minot, ND and make a reservation for one night in Duluth, MN. Very friendly people and by the time I left, I had road maps of the states I was going to be traveling in, including a detailed map of the U.P. in MI. They even had a visitors book about my home town of Aberdeen, SD!
