Negative experience: Been a dues paying member for many years. Went into this office today to have my will notarized. Was told they weren’t interested in doing it. I guess there’s not enough money in it for them and they were busy? Also, used to buy my travel insurance from them but I no longer do because their greed/price gouging is completely out of control. You can buy the same policy online for a fraction of the cost.

Fantastic experience: As a AAA member I really only have two membership for the Roadside Assistance and hotel discounts. However when we had a form that needed notarized so we decided to go to AAA. We were in and out quickly. No appointment is needed for the notary service.

Negative experience: The lady at the welcome desk was very rude! She is an older lady that made us feel unwelcome!

Fantastic experience: Needed a notary for some documents. Walked in one was on staff no waiting and took care of me and was in and out in about 15 minutes. Always receive good service at this office.

Fantastic experience: AAA is always helpful when it comes to vehicle registration, plates. Penn Dot subcontracts out to them. They still do trip tiks only it is online and not a paper printout. Plus you get hotels discounts and more.

Fantastic experience: What a friendly, efficient and incredibly pleasant experience! The two ladies who assisted me (with my young daughter in tow) were kind, patient, and helpful. They had me in and out with a completed International Driver's Permit in under half an hour. I won't hesitate to use this AAA for any future travel needs.

Negative experience: The customer service here is terrible. I was told I couldn’t be helped by an extremely rude lady present at the front desk. Whenever I called I was put on hold only for them to hang up the phone call. When I came in the second time demanded assistance I was told to “go see the cashier”. After recieving this instruction I stood waiting for the cashier for a half. When someone finally asked what I needed assistance with the rude lady appeared stating WRONGLY what I needed help with. She clearly had no idea what she was talking about and blatantly disrespectful after all I had was a few questions about my membership. Once someone came to help me, they were able to answer my questions and understand my requests. This place was so disorganized and I refuse to be treated with disrespect over someone else not knowing how to do their job.

Positive experience: I was here for transferring title and registration. Friendly and fairly effecient service once we were done waiting. Pricing was fair. Discounts if you're a member. Receptionist could have communicated more clearly. Had 2 talking to me at the same time. Pushed joining (if you're a non-member) too much. You do not need to be a member to use their title/registration services. Long wait time, but is that really a surprise?

Negative experience: My experience at AAA Auto in Bethel Park yesterday: Ok place as long as you dont have anything out of the easy norm. Been here many times and its always been a bit painfull and always very slow. Spent over 2 hours there yesterday and these 2 older women had me leave twice, to do 2 additional tasks to get my box truck plates renewed ( that I later found out was not necessary). After realizing neither woman knew what they were doing i took my paperwork to another place (Altvaters auto in Robinson twp) and within 10 minutes they had my plate renewed! I actually felt bad for the older women at AAA i could tell they were trying their best but they just didn't have a clue what they were doing. Its funny, I told the woman at Altvaters (who was older than the 2 at AAA) that the woman at AAA told me in a gruff manner, "ive been doing this for 20 years, i know what im doing"! The woman at Altvaters said, "yeah, shes been doing it wrong for 20 years"! Moral of the story, if you want it done right and fast go to prodessionals at Altvaters!!

Negative experience: My husband and I went to AAA Ft. Couch Road to obtain International Driver's Permits. We waited only a few minutes when we heard our name called, however we could not tell which agent called us as they were all standing behind tall computer screens. We finally figured it out and approached Elizabeth. She did not greet us at all, not even with a smile, but just barked, "Both of you?" We said yes and she again barked, "That will be $57.12." I gave her my credit card and while she was processing the transaction, she asked "Did you bring your photos and filled out forms?" We said no, as we had called ahead and were told we only needed to bring our valid PA driver's licenses. She slapped the forms down on the counter, told us what lines to fill out, where to sign, took our licenses and the forms and told us to go to the chair with the white sheet on it. She came over with a camera, (still without a smile or one word of friendliness), took our photographs, and told us to go back and sit down. We were relieved when she called us one last time with our completed IDP's and we could leave the unpleasant experience behind. She did say thank you when we left. Unfortunately, it was too little, too late.
