Negative experience: Walked into the office and asked the gentleman i was looking to book a cruise on icon of the seas. He told me that he really only dealt with river cruises. He then proceeded to tell me that since I had gotten a quote 10 years prior for a rcl cruise and hadn't booked with them, he wasn't interested in helping me. Needless to day 2 hours later i was booked on icon with another company.They might be the leader in something but customer service isn't it.

Fantastic experience: Known Carol for several years. She has always answered any travel questions we had whether taking a trip or not. Have no need to go to anyone else.

Negative experience: It’s not 24hrs.

Negative experience: No mentoring on how to find prospects and just hive free old and cold web leads.

Fantastic experience: Best travel service! Ask for Steve. He is an excellent resource, knowledgeable and great sense of humor. The entire staff is gracious and make people feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door.

Fantastic experience: I initially never used travel agencies; however, after using Travel Leaders I would highly recommend them for any trips! I’ve been using Travel Leaders for years now because they are so professional, knowledgeable and so responsive. Time and time again, they have proven that they go above and beyond my expectations for planning all my trips by making them so enjoyable and hassle-free. They planned a trip to Japan that was over the top: we saw so much more than we would have if we made the arrangements ourselves. The accommodations were wonderful, not something we would have found on our own searching the internet. On a similar trip to Turkey the accommodations were once again perfect and also so much more enjoyable than the local Hilton. They have a great network and can recommend so many other interesting places...The guides they arranged were superb, always professional and VERY knowledgeable. Carol planned a wonderful Swiss 4 city train trip before a Viking cruise that was once again fantastic and we saw so much before the cruise. They always seem to recommend the best places and attractions that align with our interests. They are also very proactive in their approach to ensure things still go smoothly if issues do come up. Once in Turkey the plane broke, within 30 minutes Carol was calling me to find out why the plane had not left and what did I need. That is amazing customer service, reliability, and professionalism!!! They have taken on United on my behalf to fix a frequent flyer issue that I had been unable to fix. They are a joy to work with and I trust them completely.

Fantastic experience: Whether it is in recommending a restaurant in Athens, Greece, or providing their personal input when making your travel arrangements, Travel Leaders provides a high level of expertise that puts our family at ease knowing that our travel plans are in good hands. Their experience in the cruise industry is second to none, as well as their knowledge in specific targeted vacation locations. The communication level with their customer is very high as they pass on up to the minute information in the travel industry as it relates to you and your plans. It is a pleasure doing business with them. I highly recommend Travel Leaders for your travel needs.

Fantastic experience: My family and I planned a trip of a lifetime to Italy. We had a large number of people in our group and many different itineraries. Carol Horner was able to accommodate all of our requests and really took the time with us to help us put together a magical trip. Things I never considered were brought to our attention by Carol. This insight was invaluable. Unfortunately, Covid-19 had other plans and our journey was not to be (at least for now). Carol again walked us through our options for future travel. I would highly recommend Travel Leaders and plan on using them again when I’m ready to venture out. A local travel agent with Integrity, knowledge and passion for travel—that’s what you get here!

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! My friend is getting married in Scotland (she lives in VA) and decided to book her trip/wedding/etc through Carol. My friend provided Carol’s information to the bridal party so we could all use the same travel agent, makes things much easier for traveling, especially when it comes to having a wedding in another country. After our last email on January 8th, I was waiting for pricing from Carol...crickets. Since January 8th, the emails back and forth (on Carol’s end) were a bit odd and didn’t include much info. Seemed to me she wanted me to reach out to the hotel in Scotland directly (what is the point of the travel agent at this point?). On January 21st, having still not received any response since January 8th, I kindly told Carol that unfortunately I had to book my trip with someone else since I hadn’t heard from her. She responded in a little over an hour (funny..) stating “she thought my friends would have told me that one of their agents went into the hospital at the last minute, and as the owner she had to jump in and make sure everyone is taken care of in a timely manner and based on date of need”. At what point was it my friends responsibility to tell me their travel agent won’t be responding for a few weeks? Oh that’s right, IT’S NOT! Carol was the first to point the blame for her unresponsiveness onto someone else instead of apologizing for her delay and hoping we could work together in the future. It truly is a shame that she wasn’t more concerned for potential clients (bridal party, family, and friends) and not realizing that she had lost her client who already signed up for her travel agent services (bride and groom). If I could give ZERO stars I would. If you are thinking about using this company, think twice, then think again. I understand emergencies happen and hope the employee is ok but that is not an excuse to ignore your clients. Send a friendly email “We are working on travel arrangements for all clients and would like to apologize for the delay as we’ve had unforeseen circumstances in our office”. Best wishes if you decide to use them, I hope they don’t ruin your trip.

Fantastic experience: Michelle at Travel Leaders has been amazing. She has been quick to respond to all my question and was willing to work with what I needed/wanted. Great experience. This is the second time I've used them and I'm certainly impressed!

Fantastic experience: I've worked with David on several occasions and he has been nothing short of professional and insightful on all my travels! Being that he previously worked in restaurants, he is great at recommending places for my family to eat! Wouldn't travel with anyone other than Travel Leaders, and David!

Fantastic experience: I have been using Carol as our travel agent for years and I recommend her to everyone I know! She knows my travel likes and dislikes, and makes the daunting process of planning a trip and the actual trip go much more smoothly! I could not say enough wonderful things about this lady and this group! They really go above and beyond!

Fantastic experience: My family and I haven’t had a chance to do a family trip in years-and our experience having Travel Leaders handle our upcoming family trip has been nothing short of amazing and seamless! They were able to orchestrate, organize, and facilitate all of our needs! Traveling with a group of nine including my toddler could have been a very stressful ordeal-not with the help of Michelle at Travel Leaders! Thank you so much!!!

Negative experience: Me and my wife got married in 2015 and decided to plan our honeymoon for the next year. Planning an international trip can be overwhelming so my wife went to Travel Leaders to help with the process. She was told we'd be charged $80 for their service. We told them the cities we wanted to visit (Paris, Rome, Positano, & Stuttgart) and they started putting together our major travel accommodations such as plane & train. After, they started looking at hotels. My wife looked over their suggestions & found they were too high, so she decided to book our hotels on her own. For some reason the next time she went into Travel Leaders, their rates went up - weird. At this point, most of our travel had been booked. As the trip came closer, I started putting together all the details (conf#, travel times, etc). That's when I started uncovering certain things before we even left the US - especially trying to visit my buddy in Stuttgart, Germany from Naples, Italy. Kristen had us flying from Naples to Munich with a layover in Istanbul - just because it was with Turkish airlines! We were going to lose an entire day just traveling! My wife was told that there were no direct flights to Stuttgart from Naples which is a lie! When we got to the Naples airport, there was a direct flight (2 hrs!!!) from Naples to Stuttgart via germanairwings! Even if Kristen still booked Turkish airlines, there was a flight from Istanbul to Stuttgart! I have pics of the departure board to prove it. To get to Stuttgart, we began our day at 6AM in Positano, Italy - car to Naples airport, flight to Istanbul, flight to Munich, then 2 trains to get to Stuttgart. We didn't arrive at my buddy's house until 11PM that night (approx 15 hrs). We could've had a 2 hr flight and saved ourselves 13 hours of travel and now we'll never get that time back. That day was easily the most exhausting travel we've ever done in our lives and that was getting to Stuttgart! Leaving to come back to the US, Kristen scheduled a 725 AM flight in Munich! Munich is 3.5 hrs from Stuttgart by train! How are we supposed to make a 725 AM flight when we're 3.5 hrs away?! Needless to say, I had to say goodbye to my buddy early and get to Munich the night before and had to pay for a hotel! One thing they didn't think of - maybe look up flights out of Stuttgart instead of Munich?! We could've had a more memorable experience if not due to that. I would think that's what travel agencies are for - for a fee, perform a service of providing more travel options and additional travel tips for their clients. We did not get that from Travel Leaders considering our agent had never been to Europe before. We did learn a lot from this trip - do not use a travel agency and definitely not Travel Leaders!

Negative experience: Went in for information about booking my honeymoon. Couldnt even get a word out to explain what I was looking for. Before they said i was wrong. Run run far away......... wouldnt of left a single star but had no choice. Thank you very little travel leaders

Fantastic experience: I can only say that Carol has been fantastic in dealing with the problems from Air France company to ensure that I would have a great trip regardless. She managed all the changes imposed by flight cancellation and delays etc...so I would have the peace of mind while traveling. That was my first time using such service and I can only say that it was the best experience for me. WONDERFUL service and highly recommended.
