5 months ago Negative experience: Refused to refund $1000.00 deposit when my partner and I had to cancel a group trip to Florida. We called to cancel way before final payment was due so they suffered no monetary loss.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how disappointing it can be to cancel a trip and appreciate the opportunity to clarify. Our group department cancellation policy, which was outlined on the flyer and your invoice, states that from the time of booking until November 17, any cancellations are subject to a $500 per person penalty. From November 18, 2025, through the trip departure date, cancellations are subject to 100% of the package price. We also strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment, as noted in the booking materials.

3 years ago Negative experience: Had a horrible experience. Only booked our hotels and only did 4 start hotels and wouldn’t book us tours because she only did private. Had to make my own itinerary because she wouldn’t help us with it. Booked our hotel at the airport which is not even at the airport and now I have to get a ride there. If you’re going on a budget do not go to Janet McLaughlin. I basically planned out my own trip which I thought that’s what travel agents did but apparently not. Do not recommend
