Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about our experience with Janalee at Untethered Travel. Her communication, organization, efficiency, and sense of urgency are impeccable. She took the time to truly listen to my interests and travel preferences for this trip, building out an amazing itinerary that captured a beautiful balance of culture, history, nature, and family fun - all of which I had expressed as priorities for our Costa Rican adventure. I truly appreciated all the prep and advice prior to our travel. Janalee had great recommendations for packing appropriately for the Costa Rican weather, currency exchange and purchasing while abroad, communicating with our guides, and transportation while in La Fortuna. To me, where customer service truly shines is when there’s a problem. When we arrived at our resort, we discovered that my son had left his phone in the van that brought us from the airport. I emailed Janalee at about 10 pm and within minutes she had gotten back to me with the information I needed to contact the driver directly. The driver responded by 10:30 and brought the phone back the next morning. In that moment, I was so grateful to have someone who could facilitate navigating this hiccup. If you want to ensure you have a great trip, I would highly recommend Janalee. I have never had such a positive, personalized experience with a travel agent. Fantastic experience: Me and my boyfriend took a trip to Greece for his birthday. We found Janalee by luck but so so happy we did! She was very communicative along the way, all the way leading up to our trip. While on our trip, she gave us all the tools needed and who to contact! We had drivers for every transition and ferries all set up for us! It was the easiest trip I’ve ever had to “plan”. She took out all of the stress and we would not have had such an easy trip without her! Will definitely be going through her with all future trips! Fantastic experience: Janalee Hinkson set up our vacation to Cabo San Lucas at an all-inclusive, adult only resort that was fantastic. We had a weather issue and our flight to Cabo was cancelled. Janalee was able to move our planned trip on a days notice. This included moving our Resort reservation 1 day ahead, and adding an additional day on the end at no additional cost to us. Our flights home had to be changed and an excursion moved to another day. She was very helpful and I would use her again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Janalee was absolutely amazing in helping me coordinate a 10 day Spain adventure for a group of 6 adults. It was our first time overseas, and having someone to help build an itinerary and organize transportation was everything!! She had endless tips and tricks to share from her own experiences. The itinerary app that she supplied had dozens of recommendations for each city we were in, along with every attraction ticket, every reservation, every schedule of transportation, etc. all in one place and it was accessible to each member of the group so we always knew what was next. The hotel she booked for us in Granada was a perfect location with very clean and cozy rooms. We had an INCREDIBLE private tour of the Alhambra with a brilliant tour guide, all arranged by Janalee. Fantastic experience: Janalee put together a southern Caribbean cruise package for my wife and I. We could not have been happier with the beautiful hotel she put us up in before our cruise and with the cruise itself!! Not only did she plan our entire trip to Bali (including travel), but she did it all for less than the cost of our flights if we were to plan it ourselves! Fantastic experience: Our experience with Untethered Travel was hands down the best! My family and I took a trip to Thailand and Janalee throughly planned not only a wonderful place for us to stay but activities for us to do each and everyday that we were there! Thailand is the furthest place we have traveled thus far which made us very anxious and worrisome however, by working with her she truly took so much stress off of our shoulders! All we had to do was show up to our location and the rest was perfectly mapped out for us. With traveling being such a big part of Janalee’s life as well, she was able to provide so many recommendations and give us an idea of what to expect during our adventure in Thailand based off of her experience, which was amazing itself. Fantastic experience: Untethered Travel Co. helped with a couple of my trips. The first one was to Costa Rica. She found us a great vacation rental, travel, transportation, etc. There were many activities that she was able to recommend and help us with such as four wheeling in the mountains, which was a lot of fun, going to the beach was great. She had a wealth of knowledge. You can tell she researched the area out before we went there. Another trip that we took with her help was to Chiang Mai, Thailand. She found us an elephant refuge where we were able to feed the elephants and bathe them, and learn more about them. she also found us a great cooking class there. It was top-notch. Also, the vacation rental that she found for us was like a mansion. We felt very pampered. I highly recommend her services.

We went to Cost Rica and went four wheeling, zip lining, had and AMAZING place to stay, and we even went cliff jumping at a place that only the locals know of!
