Experiencia fantástica: Niel worked really, really, really hard to help us with changing our flights. He tried to help us change our flights. He tried to offer us a refund on our flights if we rebooked them with him for a higher price than we can do for ourselves online (because, as suspected, their company charged us an extra fee that Turkish Airlines did not require), but then we would also get a credit to use on future flights. I'm thinking that any time we try to use the credit, it will be offset by higher than normal prices. But Niel endured the process with us.

Initially, I found a great deal on flights for $228, but unfortunately, they didn’t book it right away. After waiting and not hearing anything, I decided to call them myself, only to find out that the flight was no longer available, and they were now offering a much higher price of $800. It was frustrating because the lower prices were still showing online, but they couldn’t honor them over the phone. If I had booked directly earlier, I could have secured tickets for $400. It’s disappointing to see such a difference between advertised prices and what’s actually available.

Experiencia negativa: Plz do not book any tickets with this agent. They simply post a fraud deal called “promotional offers” once booked, your ticket will be pending. An agent will call you saying that ticket cannot be issued and will give you an unrealistic travel plan. If you ask them to cancel they will say NO. Plz be careful with this.

Experiencia negativa: Rodney screwed me over now I have no flight and there are a lot of money and I can't get home why didn't he tell me from the beginning that it was going to be more money I told him I couldn't do more than $150 and I needed to get home the man wanted me to go from Puerto Rico to Texas why the hell would I go over Tennessee where I live to go to Texas and he wanted to charge me over $1,000 are you people on drugs or something! He did not help me and now I got to call and see if they would let me keep my original ticket because he did not explain all that he just wanted to cancel and get a good review he sucks, I'm an elderly lady and he took advantage of me when I said that!

Experiencia negativa: I called JetBlue to change my seat on a flight and somehow got transferred to The Travel Makers. I believed I was on the phone with a department of Jet Blue. I was told I had to pay $122 to change the seat and later found out that my friend only paid $35 to change her seat. They are SCAMMERS so stay away from The Travel Makers!!

What should have been a simple task turned into a harrowing ordeal with The Travel Makers: • Lured in by false "cheapest ticket" promise - actually a deceptive "holding fee" • Shocking bait-and-switch: Real price DOUBLED after purchase • Denied refund despite cancellation attempt within 30 minutes • Extortion tactics: Demanded $125 per seat for a "FULL refund" on unused tickets • Empty boasts of "15 years in business" while failing to resolve clear wrongdoing • Cowardly deflection: Blamed nameless "system" for their refusal to help In my hour of need, The Travel Makers showed zero compassion, attempting to exploit my vulnerable situation for profit. I was forced to involve my credit card company, who thankfully resolved this blatant scam. As a frequent flyer, I've used numerous booking sites. NEVER have I encountered such predatory, unethical behavior. I cannot stress this enough: AVOID THE TRAVEL MAKERS AT ALL COSTS. Their practices are nothing short of attempted robbery. To fellow travelers: Please learn from my nightmarish experience. There are many reputable, honest travel booking options available. Don't fall victim to The Travel Makers' deceitful tactics.

I am 82 years old and couldn't do standby and he spent an hour and a half walking me through what I needed to do to get my flight. When I called Travel Makers and asked if this was Delta, ( my sister's are using Delta for our brother's funeral and I also wanted to )I was assured it was Delta on the line.. Lie #1. When I gave you $317.90 for a rental car from Budget, then called Budget and was told that no money was applied to the rental; instead you used it for a travel fee, I was shocked ! Lie #2. When I specifically asked if I may be able to change my flight and was told "of course" but you failed to mention I would forfeit the $613.86 you took from me under false pretenses, I believed you. 2 more lies ! Finally a decent employee with a conscious explained to me the truth. TRAVEL MAKERS LIES AND STEALS FROM CUSTOMERS ! Everyone- look at the horrible reviews listed first so you don't get scammed like I did this week !

Experiencia fantástica: I recently wanted to booked a flight with Max and I must say, the entire process was seamless and user-friendly. From searching for flights to finalizing my booking, everything was intuitive and straightforward.

Experiencia negativa: I found the discussion very confusing. I was told that there was no ticket for me and yet my credit card may be charged. I felt that this was presented at a possible loss of funds and was used to leverage me into purchasing a first class ticket for a later flight. This was also done by the agent I talked to on Friday who promised a voucher for future use on my wife's flight from Friday. An email was promised to her regarding that and it has not been received. There was no voucher offered for me unless I bought an even higher fare for first class. Since I never received at ticket for the morning flight on Saturday, how could those funds be in jeopardy. Joe did not understand that I was limited on funds available for this trip. As a result the whole itinery was rendered useless. I was in the airport and the discussion went so long my phone battery was drained and it took over an hour to recharge. I tried to call Joe several times but always got a recording that he was unavailable. Consequently I was not able to fulfill the speaking responsibility I had in San Angelo Texas tomorrow. I couldn't cancel the room or car because Budget and the Motel told me it had to be cancelled by Travelocity. My experience with this booking company is totally negative. The opportunity to complete the trip was predicated on whether I purchased a highe price ticket, although I was told that I would be given a disount because of a ticket I never received. Total distrust of Travelocity and its services. I would give no stars if I could.

Experiencia negativa: One of the worst experience from the travel agents, please do not book anything from them, their website will offer cheap price and you will not get any confirmation of tickets afterwards, when you will call them, they will tell you now the ticket prices are higher and pay more to confirm the booking and get your confirmed tickets. They will also charge you cancellation charges if you are not okay with the higher prices afterwards which is their problem. Please please stay away from this website and save your money!!!!

Once You Book a flight at low fees a rep call and tell you that fare is no longer available and try to sell you a higher. The rep that I spoke to and requested a cancellation he quickly said you haven't been charged and he hung up. My Citi Bank account is looking into this. I warn you. It's a SCAM.

I got Aiden, started explaining my issue, and we were disconnected. He called back … twice … to get me and pick up where we left off. When he learned the details, he jumped into action, grabbing the last two seats, finding a discount due to the reason for our travel, and making sure everything was handled. He could not have been more helpful, understanding, or knowledgeable! My dad and I are so grateful for his help in getting to say goodbye to a lifelong friend.
