Experiencia fantástica: Our Luxury Travel Advisor, Raven W., organized an impressive, well-planned personalized trip for us this past August/September 2024. The most outstanding part of our 5-1/2 weeks’ vacation was the 2 weeks exploring the island of Sicily. Raven expertly planned for us fascinating excursions with private drivers, amazing local experts, and delightful lodgings. We explored and embraced Sicily’s colorful history day after day from Palermo to Taormina and fell in love with the people and culture. We enjoyed wonderful cooking classes, special wine tastings, explored ancient sites, shared lovely meals with the locals, and had plenty of free time to explore on our own. This Sicily trip was a real WOW and could not have done it without Raven’s excellent research and planning! Raven also introduced us to our first cruise. Thank you, Raven! We loved our first Oceania cruise and Raven did an excellent job preparing us for what to expect and how to enjoy all of the amenities of life aboard the Riviera. In addition, Raven planned our trip starting us out in Washington, DC at a lovely hotel within walking distance of the Capitol Mall and memorials. After our glorious 2 weeks in Sicily, Raven arranged 4 days in Barcelona at a perfect hotel in the historical area with easy embarking on our Oceania Riveria cruise. Our cruise ended in Athens and our 4-day stay was at a marvelous hotel with a fantastic view of the Acropolis we enjoyed whether eating on the roof top restaurant or enjoying a jacuzzi. It was located in an area that was convenient to exceptional shopping and dining. It was a block away from the Hop on Hop off bus which allowed us to get an excellent view of the city and historical sites.

Experiencia fantástica: We have had so many adventures planned with the help and guidance of Lynne Miller at Bon Voyage Travel. She is amazing. She guides us to good hotels or other lodging and gives us tips about sights to see and things to avoid. She recommends what transportation to take once we are within the country. She books everything for us making sure we have enough time in airports for the transfers that will need to take place. Our last trip was an AmaWaterways cruise from Budapest to Prague, then flying from there to 2 weeks in Italy. Next year will be a dream trip to Africa with AmaWaterways, cruising, going on safaris and seeing Victoria Falls. We have had occasion to call her in the middle of a trip when things went a little south, and she was immediately on the phone helping us. A google search led me to Bon Voyage Travel (BVT), at that time I had also submitted an online request for more information with WindStar. My wife and I received a message asking if we wanted to set up a call with a BVT representative, which we did. We spoke with Debbie Welch at BVT and she was fantastic! She answered all our questions and when I had a few follow-up questions she got the answers to me quickly. As an aside, we did get a follow-up call from WindStar and they also answered our questions, but Debbie did a much better job following up. Once I was contacted by Raven, she sent me a list of a few cruises like I had requested. I replied with some more questions, specifically wanting to add 2 flights and a hotel. This was almost 2 weeks ago and she has yet to get back to me. I ended up going else where.
