Experiencia fantástica: I renewed my driver's license here and it was very easy. I parked in the lot directly across from the AAA building, it was free to park, but you need to get a token from the security guard to leave the lot (it's free). The license renewal desk is down the escalator and in the corner. You need to bring your old ID and signed camera card. The whole process took about 5 minutes and was very easy. The lady at the desk was helpful.

Experiencia negativa: Absolute terrible customer service!!! Called in to find a hotel and talked with 2 women (both had a bad attitude) the 2nd woman asked if I had gone online to look for a hotel, which I told her I did but most did not list the number of beds in the room and I wanted to make sure I had enough bads. She responded "I'm just not sure what you want me to do" If I could give less than one star I would.

Experiencia fantástica: Recently went to AAA, with a plethora of questions about going out of the country, as this is my first time, what's needed...I was absolutely a baby when it comes to starting at the beginning. I was blessed by two lovely Folk, who happened to be sharing the same cubicle spacing, separate desks, etc. And they tag teamed an abundance of information! Beyond grateful, a huge blessing! When it comes to open handedness, and excellence, these two are top notch! Thank you! Blessings to them individually, and the best to AAA!

Experiencia negativa: I purchased Euro travelers checks at AAA some 20 years ago. I'm told they no longer deal with them. They could not tell me how I could cash them in.

Experiencia negativa: AAA travel agents for the most part have been horrible. They don’t pick up there phones, they don’t return calls or emails. The manager is also very rude not returning calls and have experience with her if she doesn’t know the answer to something she needs I’ll make one up. It seems as though once they book you for a trip there job is done. It’s easier to just book with whatever cruise line your going with.

Experiencia fantástica: I came in with a question about registering a vehicle out of state and although I didn't really like the answer they provided, it was the way it is. Oh well. Most problems can be solved by throwing enough money at it. You can also get maps and free parking in East liberty, which is awesome. This is a very attractive building.

But, some things they just don't do, like issue new licenses, even for people who have moved to the state. There are always long'ish lines, but I'm not really sure what those people are waiting to do.

Experiencia negativa: called to ask if they replace driver's licenses, was told yes. took the bus to discover they charge a $15 fee to mail you your drivers licence. why the *** would I do that when I can order it online for free? what a waste of time and also such predatory garbage, taking advantage of people who might not know what a scam this is.

Experiencia negativa: I'm new to Pitt and was told that I could register my vehicle and get my new license through AAA. I called this office and was immediately transferred to someone before I could finish my question...then person #2 immediately transferred me to a third person who never answered, the phone rang and rang. So I drove to this office during lunch, waited 15 minutes, and then was told that had to go to the actual DMV for new registration. If they took the time to actually LISTEN to my question before transferring me rapid fire, it would have save me an hour of wasted time. Really upset at AAA and I'm regrettably a member.

AAA will never receive any business from us again stay clear of this company

Experiencia negativa: Totally incompetent. Insurance services are very bad. Customer service is worse than you might think of. AAA insurance services in PA are very bad in general as compared to IL. Try a deferent insurance company for sure in PA.

Experiencia positiva: I need a photo license renewal. Receptionist tells me to go into the License Center, take a number, grab a seat and wait for my number to be called. I go into the License Center where I see an empty room with one person behind the desk. Me: "Do you still need me to take a number or can I just sit down (to get my photo taken)?" Woman behind desk: "Do you see anyone here?" *roles eyes* So much for trying to be polite.

Experiencia negativa: Totally incompetent! My car broke down at 1:30 pm - in the snow - in the road - in the middle of nowhere. I was told it would be 20 minutes. At 4:00 pm, they reported me to the tow driver, who, by then, had many calls ahead of me. At 6:30 pm, someone came & drove me to a friends' house because the tow truck had broken down (& they never told me). They tried to talk me out of taking the car where I wanted it. I had to abandon my car (with everything in it), unlocked, with the key in it. They never contacted me. I had to call them back to find out where they had taken my car. I have been on the phone for 2 weeks complaining. They don't seem to care very much about their customers.
