Experiencia negativa: I do not recommend. I personally asked not to dispatch a place called OneStop, but they did anyway. Next time they do it, I'm cancelling my account with AAA.

Experiencia negativa: On or about March 15th 2024 I contacted AAA Appleton and spoke with Gregory Rhude to be quoted auto insurance for a 2011 VW Jetta. Gregory asked me if I had prior insurance 3 times, 3 times I said I did not. He asked me If I wanted to be paperless, I informed him I did not. Gregory quoted me a price of $550 for 6 months of auto insurance. I wanted monthly auto insurance billing but he stated this was required due to not having prior insurance. He stated that the terms would change to monthly after 6 months and told me to ignore the prior insurance declaration forms or to leave them blank when applying for insurance and required that I sign all the documents that he sent me in order to activate the insurance policy. Later I contacted Gregory Rhude on March 20th, 2024 to inquire about the status of the insurance processing due to not having prior insurance, he informed me that his team would take care of it and to simply allow more time to pass. I was charged an additional $264 later due to not having prior insurance, however I was not aware of this at the time because I was not informed of the surcharge through mail as my preferred method of notification against my express wishes. On September 17th 2024 I was charged $960 for 6 months of auto insurance even though I was promised monthly payments after the initial 6 month period. This left me with $1.77 in my bank account and significant financial hardship as my next paycheck was not until September 27th. Despite cancelling my policy as of September 17th and being promised a refund by September 20th I still have not received my refund as of September 23rd, 2024.

Experiencia negativa: One star is too high for triple a, I have been sitting on the side of the road for over five hours now and triple a’s solution is for me to find a ride and abandon my vehicle. I am in the middle of the country in total darkness, I have type one diabetes and need assistance but triple a just tells me they are looking into it. Do yourself a favor and don’t pay for triple a, take that money and save up for when you need a tow because triple a is useless. I have talked to so many people I cannot remember them all but the main supervisors that gave me the run around was Mary Ann and Kelly.

Experiencia fantástica: Because of the Covid-19. We had to stand back 6ft but that is understandable. The lady was very helpful by giving us books on where we wanted to go. AAA helps you book it all...transportation, flight and destination. I highly recommend if you don't belong to AAA to join.

Experiencia negativa: Checked website and called automated line for hours before stopping in. Got there at 6pm on Thursday for extended hours and the office was closed. Schedule on the door said they were open until 7pm, as did the website and the phone recording. While it’s totally understandable to adjust hours given current circumstances, it’d be great if those changes in schedule were communicated to customers.

Experiencia positiva: In the past AAA has always been friendly and welcoming. The last visit was very different. It seemed like the staff member felt burdened by having to assist me. Also, my card was process for renewal only to find that the renewal never occurred. Hoping this is just a glitch with one of the staff members and not the future of AAA in Appleton.
