Experiencia fantástica: We used World of Travel for our trips to Europe and Alaska! Both trips were perfect! Carolyn Kowalik planned our trips and I wouldn’t travel without her! She had everything planned right down to the T, flights, transfers, hotels, Cruise details, EVERYTHING. Best agent ever!

Experiencia negativa: I worked with Jeanine Bliss back in 2019 and she was really great planning a Europe trip for me and my husband. Covid hit and we had to cancel everything, she was really helpful with that as well. We then had vouchers we needed to use from our cancellations and that’s where things started to decline with customer service. While Jeanine was good with email responses, when we finally booked something there were SEVERAL errors that could have easily been caught by an experienced travel agent, so maybe she was fairly newer to this career, I don’t know. But these errors would have been AWFUL had we not caught them before traveling. Simple things like my name spelled wrong, my son’s name spelled wrong, dates of travel were wrong, hotel dates were wrong, and my son’s birthday was wrong, I asked her to include my TSA information and it was not done. I asked her if she would put in our sky miles, she refused. We actually were turned away from the TSA pre check because my name was incorrectly spelled and it didn’t register my number. We had to wait in line with Delta to fix this which was super annoying traveling with a toddler. This was why we purchased the TSA pre check to avoid delays getting through security. The hotel that was booked was awful, I trusted her expertise because I didn’t know the area and while I know this is more on the hotel’s side of issues, I just wish I booked everything on my own. There is so much more to this story; like an earlier flight would have been nice instead of waiting at the airport for 7.5 hours with a toddler running a fever of over 100*…among other issues. It really put a negative kink in our Disney cruise trip. I’ve actually booked another cruise and booked everything else along with it and already know it’ll be a smoother traveling experience. When I book with a travel agent, I’m booking because I’m trying to alleviate stress and instead with this experience, I encountered more stress. It solidified my thought process of why book with a travel agent if you can do it better yourself? I wouldn’t recommend this company and never plan to use a travel agent again.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful agents, great customer service and incredible help booking our trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with a travel agency.

Experiencia negativa: Do not expect service or help after booking. Pretty much we got your money, so now you are on your own. Calls to management produce excuses and a defensive posture. What I heard was the revenue produced by the agent at the end of day is what was important. I learned a valuable lesson.

Experiencia fantástica: Julie was so great to work with! She responds very promptly to requests and was always available and supportive if we needed anything pertaining to our cruise. The trip was an unforgettable experience! My husband and I are so appreciative of everything she did for us. I would highly recommend booking with Julie Keown of The World of Travel/Travel Leaders to anyone looking to customize their future travel plans. We will definitely be using Julie for our future travels! Thanks again for everything!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom, aunt, uncle and I went on the Rocky Mountaineer tour through the Canadian Rockies. Teresa Fons and Christine Sinagoga took care of every detail with Brewster Travel in conjunction with Rocky Mountaineer. My mom is dependent on an oxygen concentrator due to COPD. The ladies at the World of Travel made sure that my mom had reserve seating at the front of the bus (Brewster Travel) for easy embarkment and disembarkment. Luggage handling and mobility limitations were not an issue at any point of the trip. Teresa and Christine looked at every step of the trip through the lens of my mother's health needs, troubleshooting any possible problems before they could arise. Thank you ladies for a wonderful trip.

Experiencia negativa: The first time I had a bad experience with the owner I suppose Linda Burgess was last year. I gave her the travel itinerary for my church and she said give her a few days. Ms Burgess never called me back after 2 weeks I called again and was told she wasn’t in unti 12:00pm and she would return my call... never received a call back! The second time most recently this year, I tried again after being told by a personal friend of hers that she was dealing with the death of a close friend last year. Well... After speaking with Ms a Burgess over 6 weeks ago and still no call back from her it’s a wrap! I just don’t get it... smh

Experiencia fantástica: Kathy Whiteman the Corporate Manager is always extremely helpful, even working extended hours to shuffle travel. She and her team handle all the travel arrangements for the multi-national corporation I work for. I would highly recommend their services for any business travel accounts.
