Experiencia fantástica: Forgot my mask for class so I needed a new one. Chloe was amazing. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Ended up with a mask and a new travel BCD system. They have several styles to choose from and I was assisted in trying them on to achieve the perfect fit.

Experiencia fantástica: diving enthusiasts must read this. First, the manager and staff is more than just helpful. They are knowledgeable and ensure what you are buying is right for you. They will not just sell something. When I first observed on an initial visit I saw every polite detail you could hope for. Second, their pricing is very fair. The retail space is not cramped and quality of all items is top notch. Third, the pool itself is 15 feet deep and was correctly built with more than ample space not just swimming lessons, but that main emphasis of diving. Fourth, the place is immaculately clean. I have been to every shop in Denver and there is not a single comparison I can give. NOT ONE COMPARES. Shop here, take an into to scuba or swim lessons and see for yourself. Experiencia fantástica: This is why shopping local is a great idea: I had surgery that limited my neck movement, and the Physical Therapist wanted me to get back into swimming as a good exercise. I had my old snorkel and mask, but there were issues with the jaw so that wouldn't work. I went online and saw a lot of full-face masks, but didn't know which would fit best, or even if it was a good idea. Going over to Underwater Connection I got individual attention, the pros and cons of the full-face mask/snorkel were gone over in detail, and a decision made by me with this information. Can't get that online. And these people really know what they are talking about. Oh, and the mask was half price... great assistance with my questions, gracious in giving me the time to go into detail, and great price: what's not to love, eh? The best part was that they urged me to come in and give it a try in their pool so they could help with any fitting issue, and to see it this was the right way to go for me. To me, that is service that goes above and beyond.

Experiencia negativa: I have wanted to learn to Scuba dive for many years now. I have a really good friend that suggested private lessons with a great guy. Dave Rogers and he is amazing. How ever underwater connections is a bother thing. Sent some gear I bought pre-owned to get looked at. After two weeks I was told I needed to bring another part of my gear up. I live in Pueblo 45 minutes away. I did I explained that I need this equipment by a certain day and time. Went to pick it up nothing was done. Never even a phone call. This doesn’t even include the fax that they try to nickel and dime you on everything. If you want to learn to dive go to Denver

I went to Underwater Connection to do a private scuba refresher class, 3 years after getting a bit scared during the open water portion of my certification in Texas. Roger was my teacher and was patient, warm, and kind, and he made what I thought would be a scary experience into a very fun one! The equipment, diving pool and staff are top notch. Highly recommend!

I look forward to diving every single day and it’s just such a mindful thing that really helped me curb my depression. Rick and Brian boosted my confidence, led with compassion, and guided me and so many others through all of the fun and often scary experiences that come with diving. I watched them spend countless dives helping people with their masks and getting over the fear of removing this underwater. I watched Rick help two individuals through mask removal, fully convincing them they could stay in it, and the smiles on those people’s faces will live in my head forever. Rick and Brian made sure people didn’t give up because of self doubt! I never in a million years would have thought I would care so deeply for instructors as I do for Rick and Brian. I wish I could dive with them for every adventure because I built such an amazing amount of trust with them and because of those two, I know I can do anything. Everyone in the shop is amazing, super supportive, and they really show their passion when they help you find your gear and learn how to dive. It’s such a friendly and laid-back atmosphere, I couldn’t recommend anything that beats learning how to dive here. Thank you guys for the amazing experience and I’ll see you out there! Cheers :)

Rick took me off to the side to work with me at my own pace while Brian continued working with my husband and the other student. They were both kind, knowledgeable and extremely passionate. Before working with Rick, I was not confident in the water and struggled with mask skills. He made sure I had the time and training to get comfortable and learn how to be safe underwater. Possibly one of the best instructors I’ve ever encountered, I got the opportunity to work with him one on one and his passion for teaching and diving really shined. Experiencia fantástica: I recently completed my classroom and pool sessions for my scuba diving certification here with Phil and Brian. Really enjoyed the enthusiasm for diving they both brought to the table along with their knowledge of diving. I left super excited to start my diving and will return here for any other future classes :)

Experiencia negativa: I left 2 HP steel tanks to be filled on 17 July. I picked them up today 22 July. I checked the tanks to ensure that they were full. Both tanks read just over 2800 psi. The technician said that their gauge was off 200 psi and assured me that the tanks are full. Upon returning home I checked both tanks with my Perdix and Sunto gauges anf both thanks were just over 2600 psi. So, I agree with the technician that their gauge is off 200 psi, but it is reading 200 psi high and not 200 psi low. If their gauge that they use to check tanks is that far out of calibration, I wonder if the equipment that they use to check regulators is out of calibration. The technician said that they are very understaffed. The technician said that their gauge is off 200 psi (they sell new gauges in their store) The technician said that their compressor shuts off at 3100 psi. Tanks had just over 2600 psi. The technician that they are awaiting parts for the compressor. The Perdix and my Suunto gauges agreed. I can get a hot fill at most dive shops in Colorado and have this much air when the tank cools. UWC, dba Diventures no longer sells fill cards and a partial fill is now $12. In the following pictures: the two with the gauges were taken with their gauge on my tanks and the two with the computer were taken with my dive computer (Perdix AI) as soon as I returned home. For a shop that sells and services "Life Support Equipment"?? Well Underwater Connection has provided me with the corporate policy response. However it does not fit the facts. Short response. Two weeks ago when I asked to have my tanks topped off I was told that 2700psi is full by DOT standards. After that experience when I picked up my tanks this week I did not ask to have the tanks topped off but, I did mention the SHORT fills to the cashier. The technician interjected that the tanks are full (3000psi) and that their gauge is off. I checked the tanks when I got home and they had 2600+ psi, but less than 2700.

Experiencia positiva: My husband and I just completed the Advanced Adventure course through UWC. The course instructors know their stuff, and Gary was a great teacher this weekend! However, the shop itself recently came under new management and due to shop staff turnover, almost everyone in the store is very new. I don't know if it was because of this, or something else, but we had to call the shop 4 times leading up to our class in order to finally get specific information about the class (when we needed to be there, when to get our gear, even how many days the training is!) The website lists it as three days, but it's really like a day and a half, so we ended up having to change our hotel reservations and travel plans). We didn't find out this info until less than a week before the training. Additionally, we found out later that we should have had a pool session as part of our training, but that was never discussed/scheduled/completed. All of this led to considerable confusion and frustration on our part. But once we actually got to the dive site in New Mexico for the certification dives, it was smooth sailing. I hope this situation gets better because as of right now, my husband and I are not looking forward to the next time we want to do another certification class.

Experiencia fantástica: We just wrapped up our 10 year old daughters Bubblemaker party and it was INCREDIBLE! The instructor for our party did great with the 7 girls in our party ranging from 8-12 years old and whether this is the norm or not, they were very flexible with us setting up and getting extra time in the pool. Our girls almost all just took to it naturally. My 40th birthday is coming up in a year and I’m tempted to have my own Bubblemaker party. ;) We also plan on getting certified over the next couple years, and based on what we saw here, without having gone through the program, I think this would be a great place to do it. Thank you Underwater Connection and our instructor David for making our daughters 10th birthday so magical!

Experiencia negativa: The instructors are kind and work well with children, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. Scheduling is an absolute nightmare and they are so disorganized. Out of 10 lessons staff has double booked or no-showed 3 of our lessons. Today they forgot to book a time slot for a child but allowed her to complete her lesson during the time my child was booked. They asked us to come back later, which is ridiculous. They clearly do not respect your time, go elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I am an adult learning to swim for the first time in life. I have felt nothing but caring support from my instructor, Manaya. Jen, the owner, actually cares about all people who walk through her facility and she has a passion for teaching everyone water safety and survival skills. I have learned water swim, safety and survival skills I would have never acquired if I didn’t sign up for swim lessons. I have never experienced a issue with scheduling my lessons. I would recommend Underwater connection to anyone!

The instructor went over everything so clear that anybody could learn. Also his instructor came out and help a little bit and I love that this place is a loving caring safe professional environment. I would highly recommend it to anyone for their beginner course. It is outstanding and I will be back again. If you’re ever in the area or any area that has a underwater connection facility please stop by and get some training you would not be disappointed.
