Experiencia negativa: Censé être ouvert à 11:00, à 11:20 on à appelé le service client qui nous confirme être ouvert… pourtant c’est fermé et aucune communication en ce sens. C’est nul !

Experiencia fantástica: Very useful. Must get this one if you are in the city for a short vacation. Covers academy of sciences and the blue-gold cruiseb (Go for the 4:30 pm one if possible. Beautiful sunset views). You can then pick two more out of a list of several others. Exploratorium is a must if you are with kids. I had a question and called them and customer service was quick and they excellent. Definitely recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Received the tickets as a gift, but we live outside SF and just had a baby, so it took us a while to find time to use them. They would not even grant us a 30 day extension on our passes. Very disappointing!

Experiencia positiva: It is pretty easy to navigate the site, but having links or suggestions for other activities would be nice considering the number of activities is only 3-4 for the pass. We'll be in town for a whole week, so we're looking for other things to do to fill the time

Experiencia fantástica: The SF City Pass is a great value! The California Academy of Sciences was amazing! The Bay Cruise is nice as a boat ride only because it’s honestly just too loud to hear anything on the speakers (wind and engine noise). We chose the Zoo and Aquarium as our 2 other options, which were both nice! We bought a Muni 7 day pass (tip: you don’t have to scan it on or off the bus just have it ready if asked, which no one did) to get around SF which was worth it! Download city mapper app and it tells you exactly how to get everywhere, what buses or trains to take.

Experiencia positiva: I enjoyed everything we did with the city pass, but I probably wouldn't have done them without it... Maybe the bay ride. The aquarium is small and everything else other than the boat ride is geared to a "family" experience which is great if you have kids, not so great if you don't like kids. The Academy of Science had several school trips visiting when we went, so something you might want to check on before you visit.

Experiencia fantástica: The value of the package is really a great deal. We visited the optional aquarium at the Bay and the zoo, and also the included cruise around the Bay and academy of science. I'm so glad we decided to do this instead of paying the ticket price at each attraction. We were especially hesitant about the cruise because we went to alcatraz earlier that week but the boat ride around alcatraz and the pylons of the golden gate was an incredible experience I highly recommend. There are a lot of negative comments about the aquarium at the Bay but I really enjoyed it especially the jellyfish and the otters-they have a few otters here but only one at the zoo :-(

Experiencia fantástica: CityPass is convenient and easy to use -- I used this in Seattle and had a great experience with it. We had similar results in San Francisco and will definitely look into the pass again for othe cities.

Experiencia positiva: Kommt drauf an..Für uns hat es sich preislich nicht gelohnt, weil man die Öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel extra zahlen muss. Ausserdem schafft man so viele Attraktionen mit Kindern sowieso nicht, also kann man auch ohne Rabatt ein oder zwei Besuchen und hat immer noch weniger bezahlt. Aber grundsätzlich ein gutes Angebot!

Experiencia fantástica: Have used them twice now. One in New York and 2nd in San Francisco. Pretty easy to purchase one time vs going into different sites. Only thing is u really need to manage time right to fit everything u purchased. Unlike New York I learned from the 1st time to do so!

Experiencia negativa: They pitch it to you as if you’re going to save a lot of money, but depending on the attractions you pick, not only will you not save much, you might even lose money. We picked three attractions (DeYoung/Legion, Walt Disney, and Academy of Sciences) and came out at a loss. The only advantage is we had one ticket for everywhere. Not a good value.

Experiencia positiva: For a solo traveller, the best things about the pass, is access to SFMOMA or exploratorium, if you wish to do both one of them can be discounted. The cruise with the blue and gold fleet is nice. California academy of sciences is usually filled with kids and is kinda small and an aquarium is an aquarium so you be the judge as to whether you want to do it or not. One of the big pluses is that you get 3 days unlimited public transport across: Cable cars, Tram, Buses and the Metro as well.

Experiencia positiva: @leahmartin, wth? You didnt get CityPass. For the rest of us, this is money well spent. You have to claim your book (900 Market st. near Powell is a great place to pick it up) then you can ride the excellent Muni system to your sights. Use 3 event coupons to make the booklet really worth it. Muni runs til 1AM, but most attractions close by 5pm, especially the boat tour.

Experiencia negativa: idée de regrouper plusieurs attractions est bonne mais les préstations ne suivent pas : les arrets du bus hop on hop off sont très mal indiqués, le personnel du bus pas vraiment agréables, les explications via les écouteurs fonctionnent mal. Location de vélo : nous nous sommes rendus dans une des boutiques qui n'a pas voulu prendre notre bon de location et s'est ouvertement moqué de nous avec sa collègue. Visite du Sous marin Pampanito : explications en anglais exclusivement , mais la visite est à faire

Experiencia fantástica: Worked very well for us as a family of five (children 7, 10, and 13), and had a plan in place for our four days in SF to hit everything in the CityPass. Swapped out the cruise for Alcatraz tour (have to phone Alcatraz Cruises to pre-buy CityPass from them and to pre-book Alcatraz). We relied on transit & cable car any time we could (get transit map from Alcatraz Cruises when you pick up your booklet), so the 3-day bus pass that's included (which is normally $33 dollars per adult if you by from transit) is very useful. CityPass has four attractions in it and if you plan to hit three then you've saved a little bit; use the bus too, and you've saved about $30+/person and the hassle of standing in ticket lines (which can be surprisingly long even in a March low season in SF) to buy tickets (that's the only line you skip btw from what I can tell). Plus for me, it's just nice to pre-buy instead of having to feel like you're shelling out money (basically $30/adult and $25/kid) every time you enter an attraction.

Experiencia negativa: If you have children it would probably been more useful. All of the exhibits that are included are so over ran with noisy children it was hard to enjoy. The cable car and muni buss was the only thing that was good about the city pass. Save your money and go with the hop on and off buss tours.

Experiencia negativa: We did the city pass, and just got the bus tour, and the De Young Museum. The bus only ran until 5, which we should have read that better, but just be aware of that if you choose it. It was cool, but we had to rush to get back to where we parked. BUT when we went to the museum, our pass didn't scan, and we were running out of time. We were on hold forever trying to reach someone to help us out, but we ended up buying tickets, and figured we would just ask later to get reimbursed. We came back home, got ahold of their customer support, and did the whole process of giving them our info. It has been over 3 months, and we still have not gotten reimbursed. I guess it is "being looked over" still, but 3 months... I'm not feeling positive I'm getting my money back. Paid twice for the same thing...

Experiencia negativa: How do you get to skip the lines? That statement is misleading. The aquarium of the bay stinks too. Just purchase separate tickets to the science museum and for de young or the exploratorium.
