I had to get an international drivers permit. as I was not familiar with the process I called ahead in the morning to get instructions on what to bring and whether or not I needed an appointment. They said to just show up with my Texas license and payment method and they would get me the permit in 10 minutes, and they sure did when I went there later in the day!

Experiencia negativa: Came in today around 12:30 to get an international drivers license. The initial service was quick in checking us in and taking our picture. We then proceeded to wait while 3 employees "assisted" one customer. What should have been a 5 minute process took over thirty. Would recommend a different branch for timely service.

Experiencia positiva: I wouldn't go there for IdentoGo, they have only one machine and a bunch of people waiting, despite the designated appointment time, or be prepared to wait 30 mins and counts.

Experiencia negativa: Not the friendliest of staff. When I arrived the front lady was on the phone. I waited a while but then walked 3 steps to the left to casually look at the travel items for sale as I waited. There was a man and woman also behind the counter. The man DEFINITELY saw me but did not acknowledge me. I saw another man approaching the front door so I moved back to the front of the office to get back “in line”. The man entered and was IMMEDIATELY acknowledged by the man and asked to help him. WTH. First you ignore me then offer to help someone who came in AFTER me!! . The 2nd lady finally offered to assist me but she must hate people and /or her job because she was condescending. Sorry I asked her to repeat where I had to sign the form. I wanted to make sure it was correct because I didn’t see where you arbitrarily pointed where to sign. Maybe having a sign to direct people where to go instead of just standing around waiting for the staff to greet you. Regret getting a membership with them after the reviews.

Experiencia negativa: I visited this place to get an international driving permit. The first employee who helped me said that after filling out the forms, since it would be his lunch break, I could take the completed forms to anyone in the office and they would assist me. So, I completed the forms and explained to one of staffs in the office that I was told to bring the completed forms to anyone. In her response, I was told to "Be patient!" until my name was called. ( There were 1or 2 other than me) I felt quite uncomfortable with her high-handed attitude. Fortunately, a staff nearby her explained where I need to bring the form, and I went back to my seat to wait. I don't think saying "Be patient!" to someone who followed the instructions and brought the completed forms is appropriate. After observing the situation, I realized it wasn't a system where my name would be called, so I brought the forms to another staff. Finally, I was able to get the permit.

Dishonest, unreliable and they are also participating in false advertisement and directing their sales agents to terminate calls regarding that issue!!! Do not do business with AAA . This company use to be one of the best!!! I don't know what happened but avoid them!!

Not only did he work through lunch, but he did it all with a smile on his face. PLEASE GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!

Experiencia negativa: Get a lawyer automatically if you have a claim, these people block your number when you have a claim, lie to you and give you the run arlund and dont care how many days work you lose like when I had a reservation for a truck and when i get there to finalize the rental my phones BLOCKED and so is Enterprise rental, I lossed another days work over this. No excuse Ashkay from AAA LIER and said he didn't block me but wont call!!! Enterprise says different

Experiencia negativa: I filed a sexual harassment complaint over a yr ago on a roadside assistance call and no one will respond to me! Not this particular location, but the company. I have been a member for 24y. I have repeatedly called and sent emails. When they emailed me to renew my membership, I emailed back addressing this again, and it has still been ignored! I would like to be acknowledged, as a female, as a mother, as a member, for having an inappropriate driver, make me incredibly uncomfortable in the middle of the night, when I reached out to a trusted resource for help. How many other women has this driver done this to? How come nobody is addressing such a serious situation? I’m enraged and hope this will get someone to acknowledge this.

Experiencia negativa: I went there to update my name with them on auto insurance policy as I changed my name last year, the associate took more than half an hour and then I went to take pictures for my passport, now it has been more than four weeks,on my auto insurance policy, it still reflects my old name and the pictures quality was horrible as well.

Experiencia negativa: AAA was dispatched to pick up my vehicle. The tow truck driver had vehicle loaded then informed me that they would not tow it due to a ladder on top of my vehicle. At that point in time the tow truck driver got his bridal stuck. We were on the dangerous left hand side of the freeway when he hooked up his kicker battery charger with the hood still halfway up to exit the freeway, so that he could free up his bridal in the nearest parking lot. Upon doing so, the shoulder came to immediate end and I was forced onto the freeway doing about 20 miles an hour with vehicles coming up behind me doing 60-80 mph. I have never been so terrified in my life. Never again will I let someone influence my decision making. No idea why the tow truck driver did not tow the vehicle to the nearest parking lot to free his bridal instead of putting my life in jeopardy.

Experiencia negativa: I called for a tow 8 miles back home. AAA said it would be 1 hr from Burnet towing. AAA never sent me any text map to monitor my drivers progress. I called back, AAA Lied to me and said they were on their way. I called Burnet towing myself, and they had no idea that I even needed a tow. They called AAA and called me back and said they were on their way. Had I not called, I'd still be sitting there. AAA never called me back to check on me or anything. AAA sux...

Experiencia negativa: I was told multiple things from agents that ended up not being true. I was told that I could cancel at any time if my car broke down and I no longer had the vehicle in Possession Without paying penalties.. However this was not true as in I had to pay a penalty even though told multiple times by agent that I did not have to and ended up costing me more than going with another company.

Experiencia fantástica: Service was top drawer! Lonnie's famous chicken fried chicken was possibly the best I've had. Side dishes were excellence, service was excellent. I highly recommend this establishment, this is one of the best-kept secrets in the Austin area, but not for long.

Experiencia negativa: First time I used roadside assistance, they said about an hour.Had to call them at least four times and they finally said the order wasn't confirmed. Took four hours to get to us. Tried to change my policy to get a comparison quote, called and called and couldn't get them to give me what I needed for the comparison. Highly disappointed.

Every year I visit this office to get the sticker for my car as my inspection and registration are due in the same month. This saves me time as well as a couple of dollars. The office is neat and clean and AAA offers so much from a travel agency to insurance of all kinds and loads more. I am always treated with kindness and respect whether I call or visit this office. I highly recommend a AAA membership!

Experiencia negativa: Everything was great until I needed to file a claim after 12 years. I had to personally call every week to get any progress and the accident wasn't even my fault, so it was not going to be at any cost to AAA. I thought I was paying more for better service, but that ended up not being the cast at all.

She was very reassuring and was able to find the local AAA towing and the name of the place to which I wanted to have my car towed. Everything she needed to know was available to her since I have used their services before. I was very pleased that she said she would send Spyker Towing since they have assisted me when I have locked keys in the car and one previous tow. I was very pleased with Dana and the entire transaction. I heartily recommend the services of AAA and Spyker in Austin, TX. ss I also appreciated the kindness of the tow truck driver, Anas Khazaali.

Experiencia negativa: They will hide certain things, not explain in detail, assuming you know everything about car insurance. They will withhold money if you cancel well above the stated amount in the policy terms. They will use any excuse to deny or justify it. When they try to explain their side and the reason the arrogance of the members is unreal. I am sure not all reps are that way but the 2 I had were really arrogant. DO NOT get car insurance with them. I would recommend (like a good neighbor......). In all fairness as a 22 yr (8yrs current, 5 month gap, 14 yrs before that) customer of the AAA roadside the service is great and the people in that division are awesome. I recommend that 100% but not car insurance. The is not directed at this particular branch but my overall AAA car insurance experience. Policy was set up over the phone with a customer service rep. Maybe this office would explain all details, so to be fair I wanted to mention that. Best regards! My edit.. after reviewing google terms for leaving reviews: My last ditch effort to try and work out our differences regarding a refund was with someone at this location. And the car insurance I recommend I remove the name. This was my experience only. I do recommend AAA road side assistance.

Experiencia fantástica: AAA travel services- We used AAA for travel in California. We just returned from our second cruise, going through AAA Austin. I can't say enough about Hyaun Baxter, our agent. She is the best! Everything was perfect from the departure flight, transfer services to cruise disembarkation. Our friends booked directly through Princess cruises, and no one there informed them of all the special promotions like Hyaun did for us. I highly recommend AAA travel services, and especially Ms. Baxter. She is professional, knowledgable and responsive. I can't wait to set up my next vacation with her.

I tried to call several times to Mr Patrick , he is not answering any call. Then I call his manager Mr Travis , he told we are checking and call you , it's more than 2 weeks still I am waiting thier call. This kind of service they are providing after your purchase .
