Incredible Wildlife Encounters: The following days were a whirlwind of spectacular wildlife encounters. Evenings were enchanting, with sundowners and delectable dinners amidst the tranquil sounds of the bush, including a memorable experience watching hippos and crocodiles waterside. A Deepening Connection to Conservation: A highlight was our visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a phenomenal organization dedicated to saving elephants. This insightful and moving experience inspired us to adopt several baby elephants, deepening our appreciation for Africa's incredible wildlife and conservation efforts. Meticulous Planning and Unwavering Commitment: Kiboko's meticulous planning ensured seamless transitions throughout our safari. We were flown from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, where we quickly spotted the Big Five thanks to exceptional game drives and attentive drivers. This high level of service continued through the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. At every resort, we felt pampered like royalty, with an abundance of delicious food and drinks, and unforgettable encounters with Africa's diverse animal kingdom. A remarkable testament to Kiboko Safari's outstanding customer service occurred in the Serengeti National Reserve. When our initial booking at Tanzania Bush Camps didn't resonate with us, a quick text to Kiboko, despite the seven-hour time difference, led to an astonishingly swift relocation to a new, "over the top" resort. This proactive and incredibly responsive action demonstrated Kiboko's unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. Personal Touches and Effortless Flexibility: What made this anniversary trip even more special were the personal touches at each resort: singing, dancing, beautiful flowers, heartfelt gifts, and warm hugs. It truly felt like a dream come true. We were constantly impressed by Kiboko's ability to seamlessly change our itinerary when something wasn't working for us; a simple text magically materialized a new plan. Our journey continued from the vast plains of the Serengeti to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and finally to Tarangire. Our grand finale was a stay at Victoria Falls, where Kiboko once again arranged an amazing and magical resort experience. Uniquely African Travel: Kiboko handled all our flights, opting for small planes to avoid long drives between parks. Landing on dirt runways, with a dedicated driver, tent setup, drinks, and food awaiting us at each airstrip, was incredibly exciting and uniquely African. The resorts throughout the trip looked as if they had jumped straight out of magazine covers—simply epic. Experiencia fantástica: I went with Kiboko Safaris to Tanzania to celebrate the end of 2023 and kickstart the New Year on safari. It was one of the most exceptional, life-changing experiences of my life. Definitely a trip full of memory-making moments. I had high hopes and it was beyond my expectations, from seeing countless species of animals to having cultural experiences with a variety of local tribes that shifted my perspective and made me appreciate human connection across continents, beyond language and with such different backgrounds. The itinerary was diverse and ensured I had the opportunity to see iconic locations as well as a more local feel — from the Serengeti and Ngorongoro (which I can now pronounce) to Arusha and Tarangire. John and Julius were knowledgable, and I felt at ease with the flow of travel, plans and feeling both welcomed and safe. Everything was mapped out and taken care of from the time I landed so I could enjoy the little moments. Lulled to sleep under Serengeti stars. Highlight. Lunch watching a cheetah chase its own snack. Highlight. Hunting with bushmen of the Hazabe trip. Highlight. Elephants inches away from our vehicle. Big highlight. Experiencia fantástica: We went on safari with them in February. We had an amazing time in Tanzania. We had an excellent driver/guide, and we were able to see all of the things we wanted to (and a number of wonderful things we were not expecting). They were able to modify our trip to add a couple of things we wanted to see. Do note that occasionally we were on "Africa Time"--things do not always happen "on time" like in the US. But our accommodations were always good (albeit to African standards--for example, showers were always lighter and shorter due to water restrictions in the bush). Food was good, though we were careful about eating food that had not been cooked or peeled and we carried a water filter for safety. We would travel with Kiboko again. We had an amazing time.

Experiencia fantástica: Trust. That is the biggest issue when you plan an African Safari. For most of us, we don't have a clue how to book a safari in Africa or where to even start. Usually it is a google search. Perhaps you are lucky and know someone that already went. This is the safari to go on. Trust me. Trust Juma and Tina (the owners/operators). I spent a week of my life with Kiboko back in 2004. It changed my life. I trusted Kiboko to keep me safe in places I had never been, to show me wildlife I had only seen on TV or books, and to get me back home safely. That amazing week gobsmacked me! Changed my life. I still talk about it all the time, with whomever will listen to my Kiboko safari stories. Trust Juma, Trina, and Kiboko. Many of us have already. I'm smiling just writing this review!
