Experiencia fantástica: I have traveled with TJs for several years now and love it! The staff are helpful and accommodating, they are punctual, and because they often use travel vans instead of buses we can see things and places buses can’t go. On longer trips or those with large groups, they use comfortable buses. I’m seeing places I would have never found on my own! Highly recommend it!

Experiencia fantástica: I just returned from a tour of the Copper Canyon in Mexico which I booked through Kindred Tours (T.J.s Travel Club for Seniors), a company I have traveled with extensively since I moved to the Southwest five years ago.The tour was wonderful, and our tour guide, Juan, went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time. I have had only good experiences with this company, a family-run operation which caters specifically to seniors. Their drivers are friendly and helpful and the tours are a good value. Other trips I've taken with Kindred Tours that I would recommend are: Antelope Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Canadian Rockies, Santa Fe & Taos, & Hopi Land. I highly recommend Kindred Tours to anyone looking for an exceptional travel experience with friendly seniors who like to get up and go.

Experiencia fantástica: We have used several other tour groups in the area over the years and have found them to be the best in the diversity of tours offered, meeting our needs ,accommodation and cost. The groups we have traveled with been family friendly and looked out for one another. Also lets not forget the great job the drivers and tour guides perform on the tours. Looking forward to using them when we return to Arz.

Experiencia fantástica: I have traveled with TJ's, now Kindred Tours, since the late 1990's. I can say I've never had a bad trip and have met many people some of whom have become lifelong friends. The smaller vans offer awesome experiences on backroads that you would never see in a larger bus or, sometimes, even your own vehicle. Arizona is one of the most beautiful states in the US offering both desert and mountains; adventurous travel here is not to be missed! This club also offers many "outside Arizona" trips as well; I would recommend Kindred Tours to anyone who wants to wander and widen their world.

Experiencia fantástica: I have travelled with this group for about 3 or 4 years. I enjoy the smaller 15 passenger buses for several reasons. They can travel interesting backroads which are inaccessible to larger vehicles. You get to know other passengers better. Smaller groups produce less negative impact to restaurants and open up the possibilities to cozy eateries. Therefore we have stopped at many FABULOUS eating establishments. Occasionally the owner negotiates special group rate meals. The smaller buses also improve parking. The tour guides are knowledgeable and share information, stories of historical details and local interest. I now know Arizona better than ever before. The bus drivers are skilled, careful and helpful. They know which members required a helping hand or a little support. I have never felt unsafe on the road. They offer unusual day trips which are often unavailable from other travel clubs. They include trips of varying duration. They often make a holiday trip available for those without nearby families. Plus the owners and their representatives have developed relationships with travel destinations & providers which enhance the travel experience. They have a website and a monthly newsletter to provide information of upcoming tours. Tours included have wide ranging interests (theater, sporting events, festivals, entertainment, scenic attractions etc etc etc) and various levels of participation. You will feel comfortable traveling alone or with a travel companion. Leave the planning, driving, and parking to them and enjoy the adventure.

Experiencia fantástica: We have just completed our 30th trip with this club. The owners, drivers, and guides are top notch - professional, knowledgeable, helpful, thoughtful, caring, concerned people. The purpose of their tours is to provide knowledge, extend horizons, and promote commaraderie - and to have fun in the process. We have travelled to places, particularly in Arizona, that we didn’t even know existed and have thoroughly enjoyed all of our trips with them. Our next two trips are already scheduled. Great travel club!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Met these wonderful folks 3 years ago. They saved my life. You see I am caregiver for Mom, age 97 with Dementia and scheduling respite for her is often difficult. From first contact they worked with my schedule and three years later, I'm re-discovering myself. As a retiree from Michigan, thought the Great Lakes were majestic, three years of travel, small vans to big motor coaches, I return from the Grand Canyon, Sedona, San Diego/Carlsbad in awe and a new appreciation of wines. The guides are informative, attentive to our needs and safety concerns. We never leave a destination without a head count. Three years in, hoping for many, many, many more. A young 72. A. Wood

Experiencia negativa: Incredibly unprofessional and condescending. This company is used to dealing with obedient people, apparently, because they change departure times at the last moment without any notice. I received notice of a departure time change to an hour earlier the day of the event with less than an hour notice. Then, when I showed up 45 minutes early, I was ridiculed and insulted by one of the owners for not being grateful that they had "waited" for me for 15 minutes. When I discussed this man's childish, abusive behavior with another owner, I was told he was just a "grumpy old man." All the while, their website showed the original departure time that I was relying on. Even the message I received while getting dressed that morning didn't mention the time change specifically. They refuse to acknowledge the trouble they cause their customers when they make random, unannounced changes. Their owner told me specifically that those changes happen "all the time," as if this were remotely acceptable. And, refusing to use email or the website as reliable communication means they never have to deal with a record of their problems. Stay far, far away and find professionals to deal with. UPDATE: mine was the only review on here at 12 Noon 10/6/19. Looks like somebody got on the phone and called all their relatives to leave "reviews." One of the owners has also been harassing me with phone calls and keeps pretending to not know how badly they messed up. I've told her verbally and in writing three times about what went on yesterday. She still has not answered direct questions about why I was not notified of the time change until less than an hour before the new departure. Her only response to the man's weird and abusive behavior is that he's "grumpy," as if that makes any sense. Not only that, but these people have plastered their home address all over the internet in association with their business. They've doxxed themselves so thoroughly, it's amazing they and their customers haven't been subjected to massive identity theft. How childish and disreputable can these people get? Stay far, far away. The more I find out about these people, the more flaky and unprofessional they get. Seriously. Strange to the point of being creepy...
