As for the actual cruise, well, let’s just say breakfast wasn’t the quickest, but that was a minor hiccup compared to the amazing lunch and dinner spreads (which, let’s be honest, are the real stars of any trip). Overall, a great balance of relaxation, exploration, and well-fed satisfaction. If you’ve been thinking of cruising into Vancouver with style, this is definitely the way to do it! Experiencia fantástica: Christy Walker We had an amazing time!! Several of us arrived the day before and chilled at our host hotel; the transportation from the airport was expeditious and free. The accommodations were lovely. The hotel is new and the service is great. There is a strip mall, about a block away, that had a plethora of restaurants, bars, bowling alley, movie theatre, etc. The transportation to the port was great too; spacious and air-conditioner on Alaska! Lol. The driver was accommodating, informative and very pleasant. We were able to board early as a group; however, I busy talking to other cruisers and missed that. Lol. Once we boarded and handled our business - hit that muster ASAP! Lol - we all met on the Lido deck for some scooby snacks and drinks. When the rooms were ready, we were pleasantly surprised and super-appreciative for the welcome “service” our hostess provided. I was like “wrong room, I didn’t order anything.” Lol. Our hostess kept us well-informed about group meals, activities, etc. The cruise was awesome. The positive vibes were palpable; everyone was in good spirits and had a good time. Our group was lit! I’d travel with any and every one of them. We all has genuine and organic connections and fun!! My only caveat is, we’re competitive when it comes to cards and dominos. No mercy shown! Lol. You will not be disappointed. I hope to see you next year!
